Screen printing pushes ink through a fine mesh stencil (the screen) onto the garment, one colour at a time. It produces bold, opaque colours with outstanding durability, and once the screens are made every extra piece is quick and cheap to print.
How we produce your screen print order
We separate your artwork into colours, expose a screen for each one and print on our automatic and manual presses. Plastisol and softer water-based inks are both available, as are specialist finishes such as puff and metallic.
When to choose screen printing
Screen printing is the go-to for runs of 25 pieces or more with designs of up to six solid colours: staff uniforms, event tees, merch drops and school leavers' wear. For full-colour photos or very small quantities, DTF or DTG is usually better value.
